Yeah yeah Cristine, you can back off now. I know I’ve been languishing at the “real job” and not writing my own stuff nearly enough. So, I’ve gone on a bender. I think I’ve done something like 5 new articles just in the last 48 hours alone, and there’s a lot more to come. My topics list is growing by leaps & bounds. I’m starting to speed-challenge myself, see how many topics I can research in a short span of time, or how many articles I can write in an hour, that sort of thing.

I think the results are pretty decent… check out my first venture into the subject of glass repair, or this one on art institute (just for you Joanie - lol).

So, she’s back in the saddle again! Yeeeeha!!

I chose another semi random topic off my list, this time quilting, sewing machines, etc. I’m not really a huge quilter or anything, but my mom was always making quilts and sewing various things, so I certainly have had my share of time around it. So… it’s going up to Ezine momentarily. Here’s a snippet…

The exact origins of quilting are unknown, though it is believed that it may be traced to the Middle East as early as the Egyptian First Dynasty. Surviving examples of quilting are seen in tomb statues and manuscript illuminations of quilted armor. Scrapbooking and quilting are each two-billion-dollar industries, and patchwork and quilting are both enjoying a huge resurgence in popularity around the world, particularly in the United States and Japan. Sewing and quilting are hobbies that never go out of style.

OK, so I said I’d have an article ready for my next post, so here is what I’ve got so far… Read it & weep!

Natural Treatment

Instead of reaching for a costly over the counter medication; why not use a natural remedy for yeast infection instead? Most women would love to know if there was a natural yeast infection cure, and there are some natural remedies for a yeast infection. The first one is dietary natural cure for yeast infection - for example Cranberry pills, which can be found at natural food stores, can be taken throughout the duration of a yeast infection as a supplement. Among the most effective natural treatments for yeast infection is the use of probiotics, or what is commonly called friendly bacteria or beneficial bacteria. Acidophilus is an ideal natural cure for yeast infection, as it is a natural probiotic. The advantage of a natural approach to fighting yeast infection, is it allows control over the yeast permanently and puts your immune system back on track. If you are in any way uncertain, consult a health care provider to modify your diet and/or treat this condition directly with an effective, all natural yeast infection control product.

Who Doesn’t Want a Natural Remedy for a Yeast Infection?

Whether it’s a dislike for man-made chemicals or just plain embarrassment, many women seek a natural remedy for a yeast infection. One well known home remedy for yeast infection is the regular use of curds or yogurt. This home remedy for a yeast infection combats the fungus (yeast) that is responsible for the infection. Curds and yogurt are foods identified to be the most effective home remedy for yeast infection. Some believe that the best way to use yogurt as a natural remedy for yeast infection is by inserting plain yogurt into the vaginal area. Taking a tampon dipped in yogurt and inserting it in the vagina, twice a day, is one of the most recommended home remedy for yeast infection.

So it’s not really done yet… but I kept my word!

OK, early new year’s resolution. My next post will be an article on one of the topics on my list. I swear. Or at least part of one, in case it’s not quite finished. Yeah, that’s it.

I think maybe that yeast infection article I’ve been kicking around… there’s a nice oddball to kick things off.

I’m a writer. That is, I write. Oh and I even get paid. Sometimes.

What do I write about?

Funny you should ask…

Actually I write about just about anything and everything. I have an insatiable curiosity, but I bore easily (let’s not start analyzing THAT too deeply Mr. Freud!) I just like to see where I end up, what topics I land on in the WWW, and pick something to write about. It stretches my creativity, to write about something with which I am not overly familiar. It’s actually an art in itself… to convey meaning clearly and concisely even if it’s a subject I’ve just been exposed to. This is where top notch research skills come into play. It’s a frequent part of my job as a writer, to have to whip up something out of nowhere on short notice.

So if I suddenly start writing about completely random stuff, like how to get rid of pigeons, or natural yeast infection remedies, well… now you’ll know why (and yes, those are two subjects on my list to write about soon…)

OK, back to it. A girl’s gotta pay the bills ya know.
